I think the big question on everyones mind is WHERE IS SPRING? It’s got to be out there somewhere. Guess we just need to be patient.
First of all a warm club welcome to new members Travis & Kay Kennedy of Hutchinson.
Several of our youth members were not idle this winter. Abi Lechtenberg, Gabby Sloan, Baylle Rial and McKenzie & Kennedy Miller participated in the Heartland Youth Rodeo winter series in Kingman. McKenzie was Reserve Champion in the 5th to 8th grade group. Congratulations to all of our cowgirls for a job well done.
At the last board meeting it was decided to start the Fun Show season on April 17. Reason being the last 2 years we have had to cancel the 1st show due to bad weather. Hopefully with a later date we can avoid this.
April 5 & 6 will be our official Clean Up dates. A start time of 1:00 has been set for both days. If you are an early riser and want to give a helping hand with our first improvement job we will be doing the patio project starting on Saturday morning. This will consist of the framing and preparation for the cement work. So feel free to show up and we are sure we can find a job for all.
Events that have been approved so far are: KSHA Show May 3rd. KJRA Youth Rodeo May 17th & 18th and Flying DX Bar Youth Rodeo July 12th & 13th. We are working on more events and will keep you updated. So long for now.
